Studio
Nadén & Lind is based on the experiences of its founders; their combined background includes on the one hand large-scale urban projects and the orchestration of complexity - and on the other the intimacy of material, detail, and craftsmanship. Together, they navigate between vision and execution, between the conceptual and the physical.
Since launching in november 2025, the studio has been engaged in projects across Gothenburg’s key development areas, as well as in cultural tourism sector and with ambitious private clients. Their previous award-winning work spans public buildings in complex urban areas, visitor centers in national parks and heritage sites, down to private houses, exhibitions, interiors, and bespoke furniture.
The studio is small by intent, allowing us to stay focused and agile in every stage of the process. Attuned to the shifting needs and possibilities of our time, they are equally grounded in the traditions of architecture that have shaped human culture for centuries.
Mattias Lind
Mattias has nearly 30 years of experience creating everything from distinctive architecture in untouched, protected nature to large-scale projects in urban environments. He has won numerous architectural competitions and awards for his work in Sweden and internationally. Notably, his work includes several Naturum visitor centers in Sweden’s national parks, as well as multiple science parks, cultural buildings, and office spaces where the architecture reflects questions of identity and meaning. Per Nadén
Per Nadén is an architect with 10 years of experience, known for balancing deep material knowledge with an equally experimental and pragmatic approach. His close collaboration with craftsmen ensures well executed architecture, from idea to detail. His work has received several awards and nominations, including the Young Swedish award, Einar Forseths grant, the Villa Prize as well as by both Wood, Concrete and Glass industry. Clients include cultural institutions, housing developers, and private individuals who value ambitious and sustainable architecture. Together with Pontus Nadén, he mangage a wooden workshop half an hour outside Gothenburg, and has launched the furniture brand Nadén. See more at instagram.
Föreningsgatan 2
Nadén & Lind are the initatior of Föreningsgatan 2 - shared with a family of architects, landscape architects, designers, and sustainability specialists - and a space for continuous dialogue, collaboration, and critique.
Nadén Snickeri
Together with Nadén Snickeri, they manage a workshop in Stenkullen, just half an hour from the studio. Here, their work is tested not only in concept but also in material and craftsmanship—ensuring their designs remain firmly grounded in the tangible realities of building.
Academy
Both Per Nadén and Mattias Lind regularly teach and give lectures at Chalmers School of Architecture, in courses that focus on the logic of complex buildings and structures, architectural details, and transformation.
